RENT Hollywood – The award-winning Broadway musical comes to Los Angeles for a 6-week run at Hollywood’s Hudson Theater.  We just wanted to let you all know that Abe Lagrimas, Jr., who performed with an amazing jazz ensemble at our 2010 Bisperas-Traditions of Christmas, is the drummer for this production.  We thought you would be interested in seeing this amazing show right here in LA. March 25th was its opening and they are already off to a great start.  Below are the dates and times that he will be a part of:

FASO at the Cathedral

Asian Journal Foundation, Inc. presents The Filipino-American Symphony Orchestra (FASO) at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, Los Angeles.

The Filipino American Symphony Orchestra (FASO) will perform at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels on January 21, 2011 with a special concert entitled “FASO at the Cathedral”. FASO’s 5th concert promises to be another exciting and unforgettable concert that will truly be a celebration, of the Filipinos Catholic faith, but also of FASO’s integration into the community to enrich people’s spirits and lives.

“Reconciling God’s people” through the music of the Filipino-American Symphony Orchestra that truly brings “harmony in the community”.

Conducted by Robert Shroder with the special participation of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Singers Alumni.
